As an entrepreneur, it is essential to understand the industry your business is competing in. Industry analysis helps you understand your position relative to similar businesses. You can use industry analysis to your advantage to identify opportunities and threats within your environment, as well as to plan for the future of your business. The only way you can survive is to understand where your industry is now, and where it’s going in the future.

In this webinar, market research specialist Lynn Wilson will show you how to collect information on your industry and how the information can be used to strategically plan for your business’s future.  After this webinar, you will:

  • Understand what industry reports are and where you can find them
  • Understand the information contained in an industry report
  • Understand how to use this information to develop good business strategies

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, March 17th at 11:00 am Pacific / 12:00 pm Mountain / 1:00 pm Central.  The workshop is free and open all entrepreneurs.  This workshop will be delivered online utilizing the Zoom platform. The workshop can be taken on computers and smartphones.

This workshop is part of a monthly series produced by IDRS unlocking marketing research tools, tips, and tricks that potential entrepreneurs and small business owners can utilize in their planning to start and grow a business.
