Part of the Teaching Native Youth Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship Webinar Series
As a youth leader and facilitator, you have probably experienced the challenges of getting and keeping youth engaged during training.  When working with youth, it’s important to understand some of the barriers that keep youth from actively participating in training programs.  Once you understand these challenges from a youth’s perspective, you can implement strategies for improving engagement that increases learning and rapport with you and other youth in your program.
If you would like to learn effective strategies for facilitating youth programs in a way that engages youth participants, join IDRS and Camille Koster, veteran youth facilitator for an interactive workshop where you will  learn to:
  • Identify barriers to engagement
  • Build buy-in and rapport with youth participants
  • Reinforce learning concepts through experiential activities
  • Create an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration
  • Improve youth engagement and participation
  • Teach to all learning types
This webinar is free and open to all service providers working with youth.
This webinar will be delivered online utilizing the Zoom platform. The workshop can be taken on computers and smartphones.
