A Guide to Website Development

Are you running a business without an online presence or relying completely on social media to interact with customers? If this is you, please join us for a special webinar that will teach you about the different options for creating a website to help you share information, build credibility, establish your brand and stand out in crowded marketplaces. Participants will learn how to choose the best website type for their business and about the different website platforms that can be used based on your budget and technical expertise.

This special webinar and workshop from Lynn Wilson and Roxanne Best provides tools and techniques that will allow you to easily build a website for your business.

The workshop will take place on Friday, April 30th at 12:00 pm Mountain Time.  This workshop will be delivered online utilizing the Zoom platform.  The workshop can be taken on computers and smartphones.

Lynn WilsonLynn Wilson (Cherokee) serves as the Microenterprise Development Specialist for the IDRS Acorn Project. She has championed small businesses and entrepreneurs for 16 years working with tribal communities across Indian Country. Lynn’s work has focused on entrepreneurial training, business counseling, economic and demographic and social research related to economic development. For nine years she taught part-time for the School of Business and Technology at Rogers State University and she most recently joined the staff at IAIA teaching Advanced Entrepreneurship under the Business and Entrepreneurship certificate program. Lynn received her M.B.A and Professional Certification in Entrepreneurship from Cameron University and is a certified market research specialist through the National Center for Economic Gardening. She lives in Claremore, OK with her husband Clint (also a citizen of Cherokee Nation) and their two sons, Chandler and Quinton.

Roxanne BestRoxanne Best (Colville) is a multi-talented and multi-disciplinary entrepreneur. Roxanne is a photographer and operates Roxtography in Omak, WA. She specializes in lifestyle portraits, special events, and business imagery. She is also a yoga instructor, culinary artist, storyteller, and small business consultant. She can be found at roxtography.com.
