10 Actions Small Business Firms Must Take to be Competitive

This webinar will identify the 10 actions small firms must consider if they want to do business with the federal government. This webinar will address not only the actions which should be taken but how these actions relate to competing, acquiring, and performing government contracts.

This workshop is FREE and OPEN to ALL community members.  The workshop will take place on Tuesday, March 2nd at 9:00 am Pacific / 10:00 pm Mountain / 11:00 pm Central. This workshop will be delivered online utilizing the Zoom platform. The workshop can be taken on computers and smartphones.

About our presenter:
Bennie Gonzales has over 40 years of procurement experience. Bennie currently trains and instructs DoD and civilian agency Contracting Officers enrolled in Federal Acquisition Certification-Contracting (FAC-C) programs as well Contracting Officer’s Representative (FAC-COR) certification program.

Bennie worked as a Contracting Officer at Nevada’s Nellis AFB and later at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). He is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), and Certified Lead Quality Assurance Auditor. Bennie provides consulting services to small business firms in the area of acquisition, contract administration and/or proposal development. Bennie has authored a proposal preparation guide entitled: A Guide to Developing Winning Proposals.

This workshop is being funded in part by the USDA Rural Development, the Small Business Administration, and the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.
