Financial Skills for Native Communities (OVIWC)

Whether you want to start a business, get a loan to expand a business, buy a car, or pay off debt, knowing how to manage your money and credit is the first step to gaining control over
your financial future. Building Native Communities is a financial literacy program developed by First Nations Oweesta. Through this program you will learn to make informed financial decisions for yourself, your family, and community while maintaining traditional values.
The IDRS Acorn Project, in partnership with the Owens Valley Indian Water Commission, will present Financial Skills for Native Communities on Sunday, October 16th. 2022 from 9 am to 4 pm. Registration is open to all community members and the workshop is free to attend. To register please click on the “Going” button below and fill in your information.
The workshop will be located at the Owens Valley Paiute Shoshone Cultural Center on 2300 W. Line Street in Bishop, California.
