May 28, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm PDT

Come learn what it takes to build your business plan and get your business off the ground!

Please join us in May for the Bishop Business Planning Workshop.  Over the course of 3 days, participants are taken through the process of developing a business plan while also learning how to start and manage a small business.

Each day will begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm.  There will be a lunch break for one hour at noon.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Day 1 (Tuesday, May 28th) – Business Idea Generation

Our BIG Workshop is the ultimate workshop for those who are interested in starting a small business but aren’t sure what kind of business they want to start.  Participants are lead through the process of generating business ideas that align with personal interest, skills, experience, culture and geographical location.

Day 2 (Wednesday, May 29th) – Product Development and Marketing
In the Marketing Workshop we look at what the business plan is and why develop it.  We begin examining the features and benefits of your business idea and determine if your idea is feasible through the use of marketing research. We will also examine marketing techniques which can be used to reach your target market.

Day 3 (Thursday, May 30th) – Finance
The Finance Workshop will teach about the fundamentals of book-keeping, how to read and understand financial statements, and how to build financial projections for your business plan.  You will also learn about the role personal credit plays in financing and managing your business.

Each participant will receive a copy of the Indianpreneurship business planning curriculum.  The curriculum is a complete guide which helps you develop a business plan and includes business plan worksheets which once filled out, serves as individual components of a larger business plan.

After the on-site course, IDRS’ instructors will provide ongoing remote technical assistance to participants by reviewing your business plan worksheets.
