We are excited to announce that there is a grant opportunity available through the LISC Rural Relief Small Business Grant Program. Awards range from $5,000 to $20,000. Priority is given to entrepreneurs of color, women- and veteran-owned businesses There is one more round of funding and it is open now.
Round 3: January 26 – February 2, 2021
One of the Native entrepreneurs we work with received an award for $20,000 in a prior round of funding and we believe others in Indian Country might have a good chance at winning an award.
Here are some of the eligibility criteria:
- Must be an existing business.
- The business is located in a community with less than 50,000 people.
- The business has been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 crisis.
- This program is separate from previous small business grant applications from LISC. You must submit a new application each round to be considered for a Rural Relief Small Business Grant.
