Equipping entrepreneurs, fulfilling lives is the motto of GoDaddy’s Empower program and that’s what we’ll be doing. We’ll be equipping you with cutting edge technology tools to brand and market your business digitally. These tools will be free of charge for the first two years and with extensive discounts after that period.
How the program works:
- Fill out an application. Click here for the application and we’ll be in touch for a one-on-one appointment.
- Take part in a one-on-one call with an IDRS Acorn Project advisor. On the call we’ll ask you where you are in your business and your digital marketing journey and give you some homework so you’re better prepared when the time comes to build a site.
- Attend 3 learning sessions where we’ll talk more about the GoDaddy platform, walk through how to build your website, and also give you tips and techniques to improving your site.
- Build your site (or improve your website if you already have one built).
- Get tons of great goodies from GoDaddy.
What is Empower by GoDaddy?
Empower by GoDaddy is GoDaddy’s global community and philanthropic program, equipping entrepreneurs with training, tools and peer networks to accelerate their journeys. GoDaddy has given more than $23 million to nonprofits and CDFIs around the globe, like the IDRS Acorn Project, to offer entrepreneurship education and support to underserved communities.
What are the benefits of Empower by GoDaddy?
Besides the support and the education, all participants in the program receive free of charge:
- Two years of one domain registration from GoDaddy
- Two years of website hosting for the domain from GoDaddy
- Two years of of Microsoft 365 Email Essentials account for a business email address matching the entrepreneur’s domain.
Following the initial two-year term, entrepreneurs are eligible to receive up to 50% off GoDaddy’s product renewals for the above products for up to five consecutive years.
