DESCRIPTION:Understanding Personality Through DiSC and Animal Teachings\nHave you ever wondered why some people jump right into making decisions while others need time to thIink things through? Or why some people love being around others while some prefer to work quietly behind the scenes? \nWe all have different personalities\, and those differences shape how we communicate\, build relationships\, solve problems\, and work together. \nWalking in Our Strengths is a fun\, interactive workshop that uses four animals to explore the different DiSC personality styles. Participants will learn more about themselves\, discover what makes others tick\, and find ways to communicate and work better together. \nMeet the Four Personality Styles \n\nThe Eagle (Dominance): Confident\, decisive\, independent\, and ready to take action. Eagles like challenges\, getting results\, and leading the way.\nThe Otter (Influence): Outgoing\, enthusiastic\, creative\, and energized by people. Otters love connecting\, sharing ideas\, and encouraging others.\nThe Deer (Steadiness): Patient\, dependable\, caring\, and supportive. Deer value harmony\, strong relationships\, and helping others succeed.\nThe Beaver (Conscientiousness): Thoughtful\, organized\, analytical\, and detail-oriented. Beavers value accuracy\, planning\, and doing things well.\n\nWhat You’ll Learn \n\nDiscover your personality style and the strengths you naturally bring.\nUnderstand why people think\, communicate\, and make decisions differently.\nRecognize your strengths and where you might get in your own way.\nLearn how to communicate with different personalities\, even when you don’t see eye to eye.\nExplore how personality affects relationships\, teamwork\, leadership\, and running a business.\nDiscover how different strengths can work together to build stronger teams and communities.\n\nWhy Join Us? \nWhether you’re a business owner\, working with family\, coworkers\, or your community\, understanding personality can make everyday interactions a whole lot easier.  You’ll leave with a better understanding of yourself\, a greater appreciation for others\, and practical tools you can start using right away.  It’s not about changing who you are. It’s about recognizing the strengths you already carry and learning how to bring out the best in yourself and others. \nThe Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Walking in Our Strengths will take place on Thursday\, November 5th from 9 am to 12:00 pm.  Registration is open to all community members and the workshop is free to attend.  To register please click on the “Going” button above and fill in your information. \nThe Workshop will be held at the Bishop Tribe’s Tribal Council Conference Room which is located at 50 N. Through the program\, she teaches youth how to explore entrepreneurship and create side hustles which provides them the opportunity to make money while continuing to focus on their education . She has worked in youth development and in nonprofit for the last 18 years\, both writing and facilitating camps across the nation. She has co-facilitated camps with the Drug-Free Communities National Initiative\, Students Working Against Tobacco\, Cherokee Nation Behavioral Health\, ONABEN\, the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse\, and more. Camille dedicated five years of her youth development career as the Chief Operating Officer of Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma. She successfully assisted in one the largest youth entrepreneur programs as she helped build strategy and infrastructure for a cookie sale campaign that led to her local Council selling over 1 million boxes of Girl Scout Cookies in Eastern Oklahoma.\n​\nCamille is a United States Navy Veteran and is proud to have represented the Cherokee Tribe in the military. During the time she served\, only 15.4% of the military was comprised of Native American members\, likewise\, only 4% were female members. She has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management. Camille lives in Jenks\, Oklahoma\, is married to a Firefighter and has three children. \n\nIntroduction to Entrepreneurship is funded in part by the Bishop Paiute Tribe’s TERO Program\, the USDA Rural Business Development\, the CA Governor’s Office of Business & Economic Development\, the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation\, and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
