Selling Online – Grass Valley

Selling on Etsy - Grass Valley
The IDRS Acorn Project and the Washoe Native TANF invite you to “Selling Online,” an ecommerce workshop focused on helping participants understand online selling and create stronger product descriptions for websites, Etsy, social media shops, online marketplaces, and other ecommerce platforms.
The first part of the workshop will focus on the benefits and concerns of selling online. Participants will learn how ecommerce can help expand their customer base, create new sales opportunities, and make their products easier for customers to find.
The workshop will also help participants think through common questions and concerns before selling online. Topics include shipping, taxes, pricing, product photos, choosing the right platform for your business, and how additional income may affect SSI or other benefits.
The second part of the workshop will focus on creating strong product descriptions. Participants will learn how to write descriptions that are clear, complete, and customer-friendly. A strong product description helps customers understand what the product is, why it matters, and what they need to know before making a purchase.
Selling Online at the Washoe TANF’s Grass Valley office will take place on Wednesday, July 1st from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Registration is open to all community members and the workshop is free to attend. To register please click on the “Going” button above and fill in your information.
The Workshop will be held at Washoe Native TANF which is located at 420 Sierra College Dr., #220 in Grass Valley, California.
